Abstract
Abstract only
Artificial intelligence, in particular generative AI, is revolutionizing human resource management, offering innovative solutions to enhance workplace practices such as selection, training and onboarding, and algorithmic task decision-making. Broadly defined as a tool to create and mimic new content, ideas, or data that resembles human-generated output, organizations increasingly rely on AI to streamline processes, and questions arise about how these technologies shape workplace equity, power dynamics, and employee outcomes. While AI has the potential to improve efficiency and fairness, its implementation also poses challenges, including ethical concerns and unintended biases. This symposium aims to explore how AI can be thoughtfully integrated into HRM to foster inclusive, effective, and equitable practices.
