Abstract
Abstract only
As political polarization has grown around the world, management scholars have increasingly turned to studying how such divisions impact organizations and employees. In this panel symposium, we bring together macro- and micro-scholars interested in this topic to increase cross-disciplinary awareness and provide a forum for fostering future research collaborations. Topics that will be covered include ideological differences in leader preferences, different types of political polarization, CEO sociopolitical activism, and implications of growing ethnic diversity in Western countries for politics and organizations.
