Abstract
Objectives: The objective of this investigation was to determine the accuracy of conventional subcranial Le Fort III advancement using patient specific implants.
Materials and Methods: Accuracy was assessed by digitally overlaying the postoperative CT scans onto the preoperative surgical plan. Linear measurements were recorded at the bilateral temporozygomatic and frontozygomatic regions, the most anterior point of the infraorbital rim, and the frontonasal junction.
Results: All postoperative landmarks were within 2 mm of the planned position, with the greatest deviation occurring in the sagittal plane, averaging 1.2mm.
Conclusion: Digital planning and PSI-guided correction yield accurate results in conventional subcranial Le Fort III advancement.
