Abstract
The boundaries among various psychotic disorders are still not always clearly defined. The question that this book addresses is whether a contiunuum exists in psychotic disorders or whether there are distinct entities, despite unclear boundaries. This volume provides a comprehensive overview of the topic, and its aim is to present up-to-date research and to discuss arguments for and against the existence of a psychotic continuum. The subject is approached from many different perspectives such as psychopathology, longitudinal course, genetics, neurobiochemistry, morphology, neuroimaging, and psychopharmacology. With contributions by international experts, this is one of the most thorough and up-to-date overviews currently available.
