Abstract
The main purposes of this paper are (i) to study a certain embedded sub-structure S of the free product C∗-algebra HP generated by Hecke algebras H(Gp) over primes p, (ii) to obtain free-probabilisitc characterizations of the generating operators of S,implying number-theoretic data, and (iii) to apply the results from (i) and (ii) to C∗-dynamical systems.
