Abstract
Chapter 17 discusses anesthesia for posterior fossa surgery, including common lesions and their symptoms, surgical approaches and intraoperative positioning, venous air embolism (VAE), complications including hemodynamic changes, pneumocephalus, cerebrospinal fluid leaks (most common), meningitis, wound infection, and cranial nerve (III to XII) palsies.
