Abstract
This chapter contains clinical questions and answers for those involved in critical care and acute surgery, focusing on the unique problems and complications of burns, inhalational injury, and lightning injury. It covers the kind of specialist daily care these patients would require and will be an ideal learning/review text for surgical residents and trainees who care for these patients and also those taking the surgical critical care examination. The questions are accompanied by vignettes and associated references used to support the answer. Each multiple‐choice question uses a different clinical scenario that will help in assessing the medical professionals and will also help them decide whether the patient requires critical care or surgical intervention.
