Abstract
Learning and understanding biostatistics give autonomy and freedom to correctly assess scientific data. The first step to read a scientific publication is to identify the proposed question. Each question must be addressed with the proper study design and methodology. These tools are fundamental to understand practice changing publications. In this chapter, biostatistics will be addressed by answering different questions that may arise during the reading of scientific reports to correctly interpret their findings.
