Abstract
Fiberoptic endoscopy and colonoscopy have been increasingly employed and expanded for the diagnosis and treatment of various gastrointestinal diseases. Accurate documentation allows the surgeon to review and communicate significant visual observations, endoscopic techniques, and findings. This chapter focuses on the pre-procedure, procedural, and post-procedure principles of documentation for endoscopic procedures.
