Abstract
Oral granulomatous diseases are varied groups of conditions characterised by the formation of granulomas, which may be triggered by immunologic, allergic, genetic or infectious causes. Due to the varied causes, histopathological features (except for some foreign substances) are not diagnostic. Special stains and detailed medical work-ups are part of the diagnostic process.
