Abstract
This chapter provides a detailed and vivid description of the inside and innerworkings of Iowa Premium Beef processing plant. The author intends for the reader to smell, hear, see, and feel what it is like to be inside a modern-day slaughterhouse and to imagine themselves inside the plant. It is bloody, loud, and fast-moving inside the plant. The descriptions are based on the authors immersive fieldwork in the processing plant.
