Abstract

Inguinal and pelvic lymphadenectomy (also known as superficial and deep groin dissection) is performed for patients with regional melanoma or carcinoma nodal metastasis to the groin. This chapter lists the indications, essential steps, common technical variations, and complications of the procedure. A detailed template operative dictation note is included.
