Abstract
Chemical and thermal injuries of the eye are potentially devastating not only to the ocular surface but also to intraocular contents. As such, aggressive emergent management and subsequent strategies are required to promote ocular surface healing as well as intraocular pressure control and inflammation in order to optimize visual restorative potential medically and surgically, the latter potentially involving limbal stem cell transplantation and keratoplasty.
