Abstract

Quality of life is a multidimensional subjective concept which is an important consideration in head and neck cancer treatment. It can be assessed by a variety of validated, head and neck cancer-specific patient questionnaires and may be a component of outcome assessment following treatment often overlooked by treating physicians.
