Abstract
This extended abstract presents a new architecture, called SEPIA, for planning, learning, and executing effective behavior in a dynamic environment. It combines a reactive executive with a classical planner based on a formalism for generating and reasoning about approximate plans, and incorporates multiple speedup learning techniques in order to improve its performance with experience.
