Abstract
This is a collection of 100 cases of retinal vascular and macular disease in a text of 159 pages and 100 accompanying slides. For each case there is first a "Case Report" section giving the pertinent history of the patient. Next is a "Description" section outlining the fundus and fluorescein findings on the 35-mm slides. Finally is a "Comment" section reviewing general information about the condition that the patient represents. This case-by-case method is effectively used in chapters on retinal vascular disease, inflammation, pigment epithelial disease, hereditary-congenital disease, tumors, trauma, vitreoretinal disease, and optic nerve disease. Also included is a chapter entitled "Fundus Fluorescein Angiography—Equipment and Method," appendices on cystoid macular edema, subretinal neovascularization, and an extensive bibliography. The text and slides are a good introduction to the fundus and fluorescein findings seen in a variety of retinal diseases. Because of its case-by-case organization it is better used
