Abstract
[Leonard] (emer., Univ. of North Florida)-historian and veteran editor of Latin American reference sources; e.g., see Encyclopedia of U.S.-Latin American Relations (CH, Sep'12, 50-0042)-has compiled a historical dictionary that covers the country's geography and its political and economic history. Most of the volume's more than 500 entries are current and concise. The dictionary includes a chronology and a lengthy bibliography that will be helpful to astute researchers.
