Abstract

Hardin Library staff taught 2 first-year seminars on health sciences research. First-year seminars are 1-credit elective courses aimed to build student engagement in academic inquiry, student participation through active learning, a sense of community & connectedness, student exploration of identity, and a research focus. Poster discusses development of course, revisions after the first semester, and outcomes.
