The University Libraries provides research data services for students, faculty and researchers by building robust partnerships with service providers on campus. We established a Research Data Interest Group with representatives from Information Technology Services, Division of Sponsored Programs and Iowa Informatics Initiatives to facilitate communication and coordinate services. Currently, our Research Data Interest Group can consult with researchers on data curation, publication, and preservation and provide assistance with writing data management plans in compliance with funding agency guidelines. We also provide research data management training and referrals to other campus partners for security, storage, analysis and visualization services. We would like to work with you to better serve students, faculty and researchers as they navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly-changing research data landscape.
