The fifth paper, “Add and Stir: Going Beyond Acknowledging the Diversity Problem in DH," will focus on the inclusion of women and “minorities” in the emerging discipline of Digital Humanities (DH), and how that is, or is not reflected in the upper echelons of academia – including libraries. The paper will draw not only from select women’s experiences in DH, but from the new initiative to track attendance and representation at the yearly ADHO international DH Conference and the rise of movements like #TransformDH. Rather than seeing an equal representation of male v female, white v non-white, as we move towards more "democratized digital scholarship," we are seeing the continual growth of a “Digital Divide” that impacts us all.
