Ms. Yoshiko Kajimoto was working as a mobilized student in an airplane parts factory 2.3 km from the hypocenter when the A-bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. She talked about what she experienced that day and after. Mr. Steven Leeper, Chairman of the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation, will accompany Ms. Kajimoto. He is a well-known peace activist and the first American to head the foundation. He talked about the necessity of nuclear abolition efforts.
