Founded in 2010, the QC Co-Lab is a cooperative makerspace that provides the location, tools, and community for "anyone who wants to make, hack, or create." Billing itself as a "playground for geeks and artists," members focus on projects in engineering, music, art, and technology. David Hinkle discusses makerspaces as well as the process of getting one started in the Quad Cities.
