Abstract
We have proposed a new method for the extraction of the retinal optical imaging signal in humans and cats, based on the assumption that in the retina the spatial distribution of the signal is similar to that of the projection of the visual stimulus. The obtained spatial truncation maps, though noisy, have time-courses that may fit the known physiology.
