Abstract

We define a subclass of the class of periodic rings by calling a ring R an (n, m)-ring if for each x∈ R there exist two fixed positive integers n, m with n> m such that xn= xm. We study when an (n, m)-ring is either Boolean, potent, reduced or commutative. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
