Abstract
The concurrency aspect of complex designs is explored. The advantages of decomposition of design activities are discussed. Two methodologies for decomposition of design activities are presented: a methodology based on the product structure, and a methodology based on the precedence relationship between activities. Both methodologies allow effective organization of resources required in the design process and simplify the management of design activities.< >
