Abstract
Serious game applications can be used to increase physical therapy effectiveness and may improve function by extending therapy into a patient's home. The purpose of this study was to determine the tracking accuracy of a novel motion capture-based, exer-gaming system (EGS) during the performance of therapeutic exercises. Specifically, this paper is aimed to determine the effect of (1) plane of motion and (2) range of motion (ROM) magnitude on EGS tracking accuracy.
