Abstract
A laboratory study of sediment transport in a simulated, ice-covered alluvial channel is described. The primary focus of the investigation is suspended-sediment transport rate, vertical distribution of suspended sediment, and suspended-sediment velocities relative to water velocities for conditions when channels become ice-covered.
