Abstract
Conference Title: 2022 IEEE 61st Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) Conference Start Date: 2022, Dec. 6 Conference End Date: 2022, Dec. 9 Conference Location: Cancun, MexicoIn this paper we define and study the finite time input-to-state stability (finite time ISS) of interconnected discrete time systems. Different than the classical ISS, in a discrete time system with finite time ISS, its state will be upper bounded by a function of the input after a finite time. We first develop a finite time ISS Lyapunov function for the finite time ISS of the entire composite system, based on which we derive a small gain condition for interconnected discrete time systems to guarantee finite time ISS. Converse Lyapunov and small gain theorems are also provided in this paper. Finally, numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the validity of the results.
