This symposium brings together five research papers that explore the theoretical landscape surrounding variations in voice content. This includes new dimensions in which voice content may vary as well as anteceding and superseding factors tied to differences in voice content. In exploring this theme, we offer unique insights to a burgeoning conversation in the voice literature today. We aim to clarify conflicting findings in prior research, uncover opportunities to better examine diverse employee perspectives, and further advance theoretical and practical understanding of employee voice.
