This dataset describes the authentication of 3,4,4'-trichlorobiphenyl (PCB37) with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS). PCB37 (catalog: C-37N, lot#11230-02), was purchased from AccuStandard Inc (New Haven, CT, USA).
