Abstract
Aroclor 1254 is a technical mixture of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and a major environmental source of airborne PCBs. The PCB congener profile of Aroclor 1254 vapor closely resembles that of environmental airborne PCB mixtures, such as the School Air Mixture (Wang et al., 2020; Wang et al., 2022). This dataset describes the collection of Aroclor 1254 vapor and its characterization using gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (GC–MS/MS). The Aroclor 1254 (Monsanto, lot #KC12-638, St. Louis, MO) used to generate the Aroclor 1254 vapor was obtained from the Synthesis Core of the Iowa Superfund Research Program.
