Abstract
This dataset describes the airborne concentrations of 6 volatile methyl siloxanes (VMS) measured in the outdoor air of New York City and the meterological conditions during their sampling.
These experiments were designed to identify the range of concentrations present in the atmosphere in New York City and potential factors which controlled their diurnal cycle and temporal variations.
The data from this study may inform future researchers conducting field and lab experiments on the atmospheric behavior of VMS or atmospheric modelers attempting to validate their model predictions.
