Abstract
Effects of loss of function manipulations in the Nf1 gene (genomic mutations or RNAi-mediated knockdown). These were combined with knockdown of various downstream signaling molecules in the MAPK signaling pathway (MEK, ERK), Akt/mTOR (Akt, Raptor, 4E-BP, S6K), and cAMP/PKA. Several assays were performed, including metabolic analysis (CO2 respirometry) and behavioral analysis (grooming quantification), biochemistry (western blots), analysis of light and transmission electron microscopy images, and morphological analysis of mitochondria. Data are organized by figure panels in a submitted manuscript by Botero et al., and described in the readme file.
