Abstract
Code and pseudo (scrambled) data for "Alumni Networks in Venture Capital Financing" (Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, forthcoming 2026). The raw PitchBook, Crunchbase, VentureXpert, BoardEx, and LinkedIn/DataHut extracts used in the paper are licensed and cannot be redistributed. The scrambled datasets shipped here preserve variable names, types, and file structure so that every program executes successfully, but results are illustrative only and will not match the published numbers; the published tables and figures are included as reference copies in output/. Researchers with the required data licenses can substitute the raw extracts. See README.md for software requirements and a roadmap of program execution order.
