Abstract
We completed a secondary analysis of a previous randomized controlled trial, Tendinopathy Education on the Achilles (TEAch, Chimenti et al., 2022) that was completed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our analysis examined the efficacy of physical therapist direct care through varying modes including in-person, virtual, and hybrid format (combination of in-person and virtual) for individuals with chronic Achilles tendinopathy. The data included in this dataset were used for the analysis published in Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Journal (PTJ), as cited above. This dataset adds 1 additional variable to the previously published TEAch Primary Aims dataset(doi: DOI: 10.25820/data.006166). The education and exercise program used in this clinical are provided along with the TEAch Primary Aims dataset. The study design and primary outcomes were registered a priori on clinicaltrials.gov (NCT04059146) and at Open Science Framework (osf.io/jf2xu).
