- Public Abstract (ETD)
This orchestral work draws inspiration from the Wheel of Fortune, card number ten of the Tarot's Major Arcana. The card features a large wheel engraved with mystical symbols and is encircled by three mythological figures representing death, rebirth, and challenge. Additionally, four animals embody both the four zodiac signs and the fundamental elements of the material world: air, fire, water, and earth. The card reflects the mysteries of the cosmos, the unpredictability of human destiny, and the critical importance of using one's wisdom to navigate the ever-changing world. The piece aims to express an understanding and contemplation of the card's meanings, from the surface to the deeper layers, using distinct themes, a palette of rich timbres, and a clear sectional structure.
