Concrete Uncertainty is an artists’ book that engages with the control of nature through the lens of the Mississippi River. The project was inspired by John McPhee’s The Control of Nature, and uses writing, handmade paper, letterpress printing, and an accordion book structure to embody questions about the perceived benefits of control.
