Abstract
A fully electronic telephon switching system based on time division multiplex principle with pulse-code- modulation is designed. The system is controlled by a stored program processor. The software of the system is constructed so that its function can easily be extended. The call processing capability of the software is examined, and it is shown that a microprocessor can handle the call processing in a small system.
