- Public Abstract (ETD)
In a world where everyone is born in drag––full face of makeup and everything–– mustache queen Harriet Theel longs for a more glamorous life away from her small farm town of West Mid. When she finally journeys to Drag’daLore, she finds that the great drag city is full of rainbow lines and strict expectations, established by the queen Mother Angel. Unconventional drag creatures, freaks, kings are forced to live in the shadows. Harriet must choose between authenticity and safety, revitalize a loving community, and weaponize her joy in the face of looming dragless oppression, before the faces of Drag’daLore are wiped away forever.
