- Public Abstract (ETD)
In January 2020, The University of Iowa Department of Theatre Arts produced Hit the Wall by Ike Holter as a part of their 2019-2020 season. The production took place during the 50th year anniversary of the pivotal Stonewall Riots in New York City.
In his thesis, Spencer Clouse examines his experiences stage managing Hit the Wall, exploring teams' creation and functions in highly collaborative processes. Through this exploration, he analyzes how various management styles and approaches affect team dynamics and, ultimately, the outcome of a production.
