Validation of BaBar tracking software using lambda hyperon

The thesis is about the research done in slac to validate the inmprovements made in the BABAR tracking algorithm using Lambda hyperon.The validation is done in three different studies ,the first two is done on Monte carlo and the third is done on data.The result of the studies helped in optimizing the the paramters of the tracking algorithm.
