Abstract
This thesis is about how existing technology, like Virtual Reality (VR), is changing daily applications we have, like shopping, meeting, education, and entertainment. I’ll be looking for an answer of how we can use this method to improve the design process for product research and development. You’ll read about an early version of VR entertainment and where it is today. I will explain the difference between VR, Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (XR). In conclusion, you will see some examples of my work that came directly from the VR environment to the finished product. I used a VR headset for sketching ideas quickly and sharing them in a virtual environment to get fast review and quick revision.
