Abstract
The crystal structure of a metabolite of 4-chlorobiphenyl (PCB 3), 4-chloro-3′,4′-dihydroxybiphenyl (C12H9ClO2), is described. The dihedral angle of the title compound is 43.1 (3)°, which is in reasonable agreement with the calculated value of 37.2°.
