Abstract
Sally was a teenager when her predicament began during an ordinary high school afternoon, during an ordinary band rehearsal. She was suddenly incapable of blowing a single musical note from her trumpet. A thunderclap event, unannounced and unexpected, the music trapped in the trumpet's tubing and unable to make it out of the bell.
