Abstract
Among the Tibetan Dunhuang documents held by the Bibliotheque Nationale is a 157-line fragmentary translation of several chapters from the early Chinese text, Shangshu, or Shujing (P.T. 986). In the present paper the Tibetan manuscript is transcribed, translated, and annotated. In a second part, to appear in the next issue of this journal, a syllabic index to the Tibetan text is provided, as well as an appendix containing translations of pertinent Chinese passages from the Shangshu.
