Abstract

New Wadsworth-Emmons reagents, bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)-(2-oxopropyl)phosphonate 6 and bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)-(1-methyl-2-oxopropyl)-phosphonate 7 were prepared and their reactions with aldehydes yielded disubstituted and trisubstituted (Z)-α,β-unsaturated ketones. Graphic
