Allergic disease can affect any portion of the respiratory tract including the larynx, trachea, and the bronchial tree, along with the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx, and pharynx. The following review will discuss the impact of allergic mechanisms in disorders within the scope of laryngology.
