An interview with professor Seppo Iso-Ahola

Abstract
The purpose of this special feature interview was to set the stage for papers that present conceptual and empirical findings related to theory-based practice. During its annual business meeting in 1999, the Therapeutic Recreation Journal Editorial Board requested that a "Call for Papers on Theory-Based Practice" be put forth under the guest editorship of Kenneth Mobily. The framework for these papers was intended to be prefaced by an interview with Professor Seppo Iso-Ahola, which appears in this issue of TRJ. To date, one paper has been reviewed and accepted that builds on this theme, and it will appear in the first quarter issue of 2001. TR practitioners and scholars are indepted to Professors Mobily and Iso-Ahola for providing the following commentary on the status of TR knowledge, research, and practice.. ..
