Abstract
Key Teaching Points
1. Pulse field ablation (PFA) can potentially induce unintended myocardial capture in patients with ICD leads when energy delivery occurs in close proximity.
2. Ventricular fibrillation may result from asynchronous delivery of PFA pulses interacting with implanted cardiac rhythm devices.
3. Awareness of existing devices in proximity to PFA, and consideration of synchronous PFA delivery may help mitigate risk in device patients.
