Abstract

AbstractPatient- or family-centered rounding is an interdisciplinary practice in which the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health care occur at the bedside with decision-making shared between the care team and patient/family. In this AM Last Page, the ­authors describe the practice of patient-centered rounding and offer strategies for effective implementation to optimize ­patient care delivery and trainee learning.
